Senior management of Sinopec Petroleum Engineering Corp made asite visit at Orion’s ZhengDing Base

It was Juanary 21st, 2014, SINOPEC Petroleum Engineering Corp. Standing Vice President Liu Ru-shan, together with SINOPEC Engineering Corp Equyipment Management Manager He Xiao-song and Procurment Center Manager Leng Xin and another accompany guy have visited Orion’s Zhengding Base to inspect equipment and technology. Orion’s VP, Production Affairs Tony Shang, Orion VP and Subsurface Devision Manager Yang Tao, Orion VP and International Department GM Yuan Ding, Orion Oil and Gas Division GM Zhao Jian, Subsurface Division Deputy General Manager Qiao Ting-li, Orion Coal Bed Methane Division Sales Director Zhao You-zhou, Orion’s Subsurface Division Chief Engineer Peng Zi-dong, Orion’s International Business Consultant Liu Cun-zhong and other relevant people escorted the SINOPEC guests. SINOPEC leaders have highly appraised the Orion’s equipment, technology and employees qualification.

SINOPEC Peteoleum Engineering Technology Services Corperation is a wholly owned subsidiary of SINOPEC Corp, it is also an integrated service company after professional re-organziation in the SINOPEC system by the end of 2012, it is also a unique foreign realted petroleum engineering services and integrative contractor and service provider participating the global competition in the name of SINOPEC.
Orion pays great attention to the SINOPEC’s visit Subsurface Division was fully mobilized for the preparation for the Visit under the call of Yang Tao, head of Subsurface Division. Year 2014 shall be a key year for Orion’s Subsurface Division for business expansion. Subsurface Division shall take a road of stable business growth, expose to the clients and buildup long term relationship with the clients. The Sinopec’s Visit to Orion’s Zhengding Base offers a golden opportunity for Orion to demonstrate technological and equipment advantages, it is also an opportunity for the mutual dialogue between leaders from the both SINOPEC and Orion for trust development and potential cooperations.
Visitors were inspecting Orion’s equipment on the site and Orion technical guy has run an introduction to the equipment.
The coiled tubing unit was a focused point of visit of leaders of SINOPEC. Team leader Mr Liu of Coiled Tubing was running an introduction to SINOPEC leaders from equipment’s structure to the special features, which was followed with a site demonstration of the equipment. Rig up operation was demonstrated on the site, it also demonstrated the movement of all directions of injection head to the wellhead; inside the operation room, it has demonstrated the digital simulation and monitoring software. SINOPEC visitors were highly appraised the Orion’s professional equipment and professional operational demonstrations.
N2 unit and team members were ready for the visitors, chief operator Mr. Luan was running a site demonstration of N2 unit’s feature and performance which was followed with an introduction of operational panel inside the N2 control cabin, the introduction has allowed visitors having a profound understanding on the advanced performance of the N2 unit.

After the site visit, both the visitors and hosts had a technical exchange meeting held in Zhengding Guotai Hotel Meeting Room. Chief Engineer Mr Zhao has chaired the discussion, the coiled tubing engineer make a report to the session, which was mainly introduced subsurface engineering and technological development and the coiled tubing unit and tools were highlighted in the introduction. Mr Liu from SINOPEC has raised questions of his interests in the technical exchange, which was answered by Orion VP, Production Affairs Tony Shang. SINOPEC Mr Liu showed interests to the big capacity drum and said that the Orion’s 2-3/8 "4600 meters coiled tubing shall have advantage in fracing job for Fuling, Sichuan province. SINOPEC Mr Liu called for a special technical session in Beijing with better preparation of relevant documentations.
SINOPEC Mr Liu said that even though the visit to Orion’s Zhengding Base was a short one but deep impression have left in his mind. He said that Orion has a world class equipment and a professional team which impreses him a lot. Orion International Department Consultant Mr. Liu Cun-zhong said that Orion’s coiled tubing is cpacial for its safety, convenience and efficiency. SINOPEC Mr Liu pre-congratulates for a potential cooperation in the year 2014 for oil and gas engineering job.
Orion leader accepted to follow up the calls of SINOPEC Mr Liu for making an improvement to Orion’s equipment and technology and extended a welcome to SINOPEC Mr Liu for his visit to Orion Beijing Office.
