Pumping technology services project
In one of Orion’s first coal bed methane well constructed in 2011 in xxx block in Sichuan, after 2 years pumping operation, daily gas production was maintained at 1500m3 and the accumulative production was 1 million cubic meters and continuous pumping operation during the 2 years was achieved without any shut down for pump inspection. Goo dresult was also reaped for the subsequent 40 wells for pumping.
Case of diagnosis of issue
It was in 2014 at a vertical well in xxx block in Sichuan where during the pumping operation, the well was shut in for gas transmission line modification, no oil come from oil pump 2 hours after the shut in. After inquiry of operation condition and technical parameters, we assumes that it could be a gas lock which was further verified by historical data. The well was restored for production after a solution was developed.
