OPA Smart Pumping

 

Orion has designed and developed OPA coal bed methane smart pumping control system which mainly to achieve data acquisition, data transmission, artificial control, bottom hole pressure control, liquid level control and fluid produced control, etc. OPA smart control system’s associated EZ-GAS oil well control compotator software could perform remote control from center end EZ Gas server and mean time it could offer a strong data sheet and data analysis function.

Designer’s definition of data acquisition: define as much as 100 parameters tobe acquired in light of actual situation, possibility in add or cut sensors and secondary instruments based on capacity of parameters, it could possible to define physical signals based on parameters of sensor.

An innovative design of a computer parameter, when logic relations are clear among parameters, it could generate new parameters based on other parameters.

No special requirement on sensors and secondary instruments: compatible input of analogue signals and digital signals.

Possible of setting up an alarm value for each parameter, when measured value satisfies the given conditions, it send out an alarm message, which could be synchronized in a transmission to the control center through internet.

Possible of setting up conditional orders for each parameter, when conditions are satisfied, it could automatically control performance of peripheral equipment.

Pumping pump automatically controls bottomhole pressure, liquid level and produced fluid volume (the 3 kinds of control agorisms).

Adapt to all models of pumping pums, including screw pump, the whole drum pump, electric submersible pump, hydraulic cylinder piston pump, jet pump and hydraulic pump.

Adopted high performance industrial control computer system, which can add software functions without additional hardware support in line with the client’s requirement.

Touch screen operation and friendly interface with uses and simple operation.

Where the network permits on a condition, it could connect with external video transmission device and achieve site video transmission.

 

Power sources: 380 VAC 3-line.

Drive power: <22kW, 3-line output.

Signal input capacity: gross capacity should be less than 100, the standard configuration 8 route analogous signal.

Type of analogical signal volume: 4~20mA current signal.

Digital singal model: RS485 interface, Modbus Protocol.

On/Off input: 3-routes dry point connection points possible to be bundled with conditional orders.

Output signals to external device: up to 3 way current, voltage mode analogical input, 3 ways relay output and multiple access RS485 interfaces which complies with Modbus digital signals based on requirement.

Method of pump control: artificial control or auto-control; auto-control offers bottomhole pressure, decision on fluid level and control mode.

Communication protocol: OPA communication protocol, capable of seamless network formation with EZ Gas epigenous machine software.

Means of communication: ant network that has based on TCP/IP network, such as the 2G, 2.5 G and 3G networks of China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom.

Working environment: ambient temperature 25℃ – 55 ℃, RH<95%, water-proof design.

The OPA automation equipment’s smart and refined control function allowed Orion to achieve in 2011 at PetroChina’s xxx block horizontal well pumping operation average daily production of 8000m³/d; the CUCBM’s xxx block horizontal well average daily production of 15000m³/d. The system has currently applied in many blocks for different types of wells including Jincheng block, Henan Yima block, Hebei block, Mengjin black, Jiaozuo block and Anhui Panxiedong block, in total, there were > 60 automation equipment applications with good results.
