The 1st generation 1G well (single trunk vertical open hole multiple branches horizontal well) adopted double well shafts structure of vertical well and horizontal well by way of close-point connection. Horizontal well section adopted single trunk branch, trunk branch or totally branch open hole completion. For the commonly low performance low permeability and low pressure Chinese coal resources development status quo, such large density and multiple branches horizontal well hole deployment has effectively shortened pressure drop route, improved circulation competency, enhanced drainage area and achieved significant enhanced production result.
To adapt different geographic condition restriction of different formations, Orion has on the basis of 1G well, runs in PE pipe and improve well shaft to the main well hole, improved and researched in an application of 1.51G (single trunk branch double wellbores U-shape horizontal well) and 1.52G well (cluster PE single branch horizontal well).
Orion has accomplished on Dec. 23rd, 2005 a well at xx 01 well position located at the side of xxx coal mine in Shanxi province, the well has the TVD 120 meters, gas cut was less than 11 cubic meters, pressure gradiant was 0.5 Mpa/100m, desorption pressure was less than 0.7Mpa. It has achieved big displacement of 1400 meters at the main borehole at the depth of 120 meters and the 9000 meter total drilling footage record, in the mean time, it has achieved 16000 cubic meters/day high rate production under such a bad reservoir condition.
